This book is a study in contrasts between two political administrations in Jamaica. Running through the narrative is the contrast between the administrations of Michael Manley and P.J Patterson with that of Edward Seaga. But dominating the narrative is the picture that is painted of Edward Seaga, politician, statesman, visionary and achiever. Interspersed are the details of a number of national horror stories – Green Bay, Orange Street – which need to be told and are told with the eye of a keen legal brain.
